We are powering 9,000 square feet with the sunshine- including our home, Studio T’Alyne, and various garages and out buildings. We are using Iron Edison batteries as the main storage supply with the additional fork lift battery setup for the studio. We are totally Offgrid and Zero Emissions. It is amazing to live in a Quiet peaceful Tranquil environment. Elevation is 6,800 feet with incredible views! Enjoy.

The sun shines on and on here in southern Colorado. We are so fortunate to live in The sunniest spot with the best solar gain recording 320 days a year of brilliance and generous light. We are powering over 7,000 square feet with the sunshine! It’s Funny, on the day we installed the panels it’s partly cloudy. It is a nice winter here in January with the balmy 60 degrees outside. Perfect day to be on the rooftop.

The inside equipment—inverter, battery, and water heater and other power equipment will be online soon. Soon the long green extension cord from the main house will be unplugged! It’s exciting to see the progress and realize that the studio will be On its own independently power soon. Thank you sunshine for the free energy and zero utility costs. It’s that time of year for thanks and to acknowledge progress. I have plenty of room in the studio for large scale painting. The Beacon is progressing nicely. Climbing ladders to reach the 8’x4’x4’ painting is positively amazing perspective. Thus far I have accomplished 40 layers of varnish and pigments on the fiberglass substrate. The illumination is becoming stronger with every layer of color and light. I am so grateful for the Colorado morning sunshine and wonderful colors. The sunrise is at 5:30am now Reflecting brilliance and radiance. It’s wonderful to watch the flocks of birds floating on the updrafts across the horizon. Progress is happening!

Excellent news! Private art collector from Miami Florida flew to Colorado to visit my mountain studio. We had a wonderful visit! Now I am shipping a group of large scale fiberglass panels to Miami! Their new home and front entrance is full of natural light. It’s the perfect space to highlight the beauty of the artworks. I am excited to see the grand front entrance installation.
